Hey Smoking Wood fans, this is for you! The key player here is smoked beech wood-infused malt, giving rich, smoky character. A combination of rye malt, giving spice, and time in rye barrels, lending boozy notes of burnt caramel, gives balance to the charactistically sweet notes of a barleywine ale.
