A handmade, exceptionally silky cask-strength rum. Ron Hacienda Santa Ana is masterfully blended to highlight very balanced fruit notes, not an easy feat to achieve for a cask-strength rum aged for 2 years. Its incredibly smooth character is perfect for cocktails and mixology.

Bold from the start, with hints of burnt caramel, overripe banana, and dried apricots that swarm the palate. Deeper layers of cinnamon and dark raisins, with a woody finish. Complex flavor that at first overpowers but soon balances perfectly with the strong over proof nature of the rum.

In 1871, Pedro Fernndez returned to his family home at Hacienda Santa Ana after studying engineering in France, where he learned about the process of making fine brandy and cognac. Applying what he had learned, he started to develop a rum recipe. By 1880, the formula was perfected. To this day, 140 years later, nothing about it has changed. Its still aged and blended in the same way and in the same place. Not even the bottles label has changed.
