Brewed way back in early 2022, this one has been a long time coming. Joe and Dave boiled this for 25 hours to provide enough body to stand up to the extended aging to come. Rich, sweet, and strong, it spent the first year of its life in a French cognac barrel before transitioning to another barrel which previously held more (delicious) Doc Brown bourbon. This is a truly nuanced and complex beerbittersweet chocolate, bready malt, restrained fruit notes from cognac, and classic bourbon and oak flavors abound.
