Mirabelle is Schramsberg’s multi-vintage brut sparkling wine, a style the winery initiated in the 1990’s. Mirabelle Ros exhibits fresh, elegant and toasty aromas with bright berry fruit and body from the Pinot Noir, as well as length and zest from the Chardonnay.

The Mirabelle Brut Ros has vibrant aromas of stone fruit and strawberries, rounded off with hints of lemon curd, zesty citrus, ginger, vanilla, and toasted almond. A broad and juicy entry on the palate anchors a mid-center mouthfeel of orange, tangy raspberry, baked apple, and pineapple upside-down cake, ending with a bright acidic finish.

Twenty years into building an outstanding range of vintage-dated sparkling wines, the Davies family set out to master the nonvintage or multi-vintage traditional method technique. A few years of experimentation would ultimately lead to the successful launch of Mirabelle in 1992. The grapes for Mirabelle come from the same cool-climate, North Coast vineyards as Schramsbergs vintage-dated wines, and the quality focus in winemaking is identical. Unlike Schramsbergs vintage bottlings, Mirabelle gains unique depth from blending additions of aged base wines from prior vintages.
