Tasting Notes

Plum red in color with aromas of blackberry, toasted spices, and vanilla. The palate is rich, elegant and beautifully structured with layers of black plum, blueberry, and roasted coffee, with a hint of French oak. Supple tannins compliment the fruit and racy acidity, leading to a juicy and long finish.

Production Notes

Grapes were hand-sorted and gently crushed. The wine underwent natural-yeast fermentation in barrel and had an extended maceration period to soften the tannins. The wine was bottled after 18 months of aging.

The 2018 vintage is composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Malbec, and 2% Petit Verdot.
