Sercial is the driest of the four white noble varieties of the island. Just like our Colheitas and our Single Casks, each 10 year madeira is made the old fashioned way – the Canteiro method. Canteiro is a named derived from the support beams on the ceiling of the winery. Warm air rises so Canteiro method wines are cooked by ambient temperature, naturally. Tangy fruit, roasted nuts, minerality.
