Dave Pickerell and Metallica partner on BLACKENED, a new Blend of Straight American Whiskeys

Master Distiller extraordinaire, Dave Pickerell, in collaboration with Metallica, has unveiled the next evolution of whiskey with BLACKENED. The spirit isnt just inspired by the iconic bands music, it is literally shaped by it. The team behind BLACKENED has taken the concept of sonic-enhancement and turned it into BLACK NOISE, a patent-pending process that uses Metallicas own music to shape the flavor of this unconventional American whiskey.

This is the essential gift for any Metallica fan or whiskey aficionado to add to their collection. “Re-Mastered” by Pickerell, BLACKENED Whiskey, is a collaboration of bourbons, ryes, and whiskeys from all across North America, carefully selected by Dave himself. Once married, they make their way into black brandy casks for finishing.
