Pinot Noir grapes for this wine are sourced partially from the southernmost part of Burgundy, in the Mconnais and partially from Cte dOr (Cte de Beaune and Cte de Nuits). The vineyards are located along the foot of the wine-growing slopes on limestone soils mixed with some clays and marls. A bouquet of small red fruits (cherry, redcurrant) and black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) greets you upon opening the bottle. The wine is lively and crunchy in the mouth with flavors that continue into a long, smooth finish. A vinous and appealing wine.
