The Russian River Valley blend represents the unique characteristics of the appellation that set it apart from other growing regions. The wine is assembled using select lots from Aristas Westside Road Estate Vineyard as well as selections from the Toboni, Lucky Well, and Mononi Vineyards. No de-classified wine or filler vineyards are used for this appellation blend. Instead, this wine is viewed as a tete-de-cuve blend of single vineyard and estate wines and is an excellent survey of the vintage and appellation each year.
Blue and red fruits predominate on the nose, but the presence of a lavender inflected floral component is unmistakable. There is great tension and texture on the palate, with fine grained tannins supporting flavors of fresh pomegranate and tangy wild blackberry. A hint of cola on the long finish speaks to the quality of this vintage, where warm sunny days and cool nights gave rise to perfect ripeness balanced by a gentle yet refreshing acidity.

Arista Winery was founded by Al and Janis McWilliams in 2002 with a mission to craft artisanal, site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. From the beginning, the McWilliams have firmly believed that the finest examples of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are produced in small lots. This belief has led to an emphasis on quality over quantity and a determination to discover and develop unique vineyard sites that reflect the distinct characteristics of the Russian River Valley.Arista Winery is committed to sustainable farming practices and only collaborate with growers who share their ethos and dedication to conscientious, high-quality farming.
