A single grain from the well-known Port Dundas Distillery but this time independently bottled for the Old Particular range by Douglas Laing.

The whisky was distilled in July 2004, and bottled in December 2020 after a finishing period in a Pedro Ximnez sherry butt. At 16 years of age, the whisky was bottled up at 54.1% ABV, with an outturn of just 343 bottles.

TASTING NOTES

Nose:Sherried spices and tangy green apple sweeties, plus some toasted brown sugar warmth.

Palate:Apricot pastries, gingerbread with icing, more orchard fruit and another kick of festive spice.

Finish:Chocolatey on the finish, with a smidge of charred oak.
