A dry and full-bodied red cultivated on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in the iconic wine-growing regions between Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl. After harvesting in the early morning to bring the grapes to the cellar as cool as possible, the grapes were destemmed and crushed. A firm, smooth tannin structure gives depth and definition to the black-fruited core.
