As with most of their wines, Chteau Saint-Cme has chosen to vinify using Serine, an old variety of Syrah, on the granite soils of the Malleval valley. The wine was matured for 12 months in both new and used containers. It is very ripe in character and has an aromatic bouquet marked by notes of rose, peony, liquorice and tobacco.
