Commercial Description:

Cmplice Tepeztate-Jabal-Tobal is an Ensamble Mezcal produced by Mezcalero Epigmenio Martnez Prez in Santa Mara Albarradas, Oaxaca. This Ensamble is composed of 30%Agave convallis,30%Agave Marmorata, and 40%Agave Potatorum.After the agaves reach maturity they are harvested and cooked together in a river-stone pit oven. The cooked agaves are crushed by a horse-drawn tahona. After fermenting in oak wood vats, it is double distilled in copper stills. This mezcal has herbal notes along with citrus and fruit andis part of the limited edition Cmplice de Pasin series made from wild agave.
