Created from centuries of distilling tradition, D Danann [day-danan] whiskey is inspired by the legends of Irish mythology. The legendary D Danann are a tribe of mythical Celtic Gods, known for being leaders, heroes and warriors with mystical
powers. Lugh [loo], a D Danann God, possesses three key qualities of power, honour and skill. His name is given to the ancient festival of Lughnasa [loo-na-sa] when barley is harvested before being mystically transformed by triple-distillation to become Irish whiskey. Our triple distilled, blended D Danann whiskey is inspired by the Gods and masterfully created using traditional methods handed down through the centuries. Aged in bourbon barrels, D Danann is another great Irish whiskey soon to become a legend the world over.
