From time to time, distillers provide our staff the opportunity to sample whiskey from several of their barrels and then select the one we like the best. The distiller then bottles all it can from that one barrel and uses a custom store pick label with our logo.

This is a unique opportunity that only a few liquor stores in the state are chosen to participate in each year. We are fortunate to be one of the top accounts in Colorado for Four Roses and, as such, we get selected regularly to participate in these barrel selections.

Our Four Roses barrel was chosen by our staff for its unique profile (see tasting notes below) and produced only 96 bottles. These will sell out fast!

TASTING NOTES

Nose:Black cherry, vanilla and demerara sugar.
Taste (palate):Cinnamon, brown sugar, maraschino cherry and black pepper.
Finish:Very little alcohol for its proof, oak spice lingers with notesof leather. Very lengthy finish.

Overall one of our favorite picks!
