Having previously swapped stout barrels their friends at a local craft brewery in 2013, Jameson couldnt wait to try a new beer mate with our casks. After careful exploration,they decided that a zesty Irish pale ale (IPA) would be the perfect partner. So,Jameson loaned barrels to neighbours, Eight Degrees Brewing, to make a Jameson-seasoned IPA, and the beer-soaked barrels returned to the distillery full of new, crisp hoppy notes. The barrels were refilled with Jameson and the wait began. The signature smoothness is still there, but rubbing shoulders with the IPA has introduced lighthints of hops, fresh citrus and floral notes.
