A new Jura, named after Market Loch, located 1000 feet above sea level on the Island of Jura. As the distillery’s primary water source, the importance of the lake cannot be understated. Initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels followed by a finishing period in casks that previously held 30 year old, single estate Pedro Ximnez Sherry, it’s described as a warm, charming malt with aromas and flavours of treacle cake, baked apple, praline, black coffee, tropical fruit salad and cracked pepper.
