Plantation Original Dark Rum is a versatile dark rum from Maison Ferrand. Master Distiller Alexandre Gabriel uses a Plantation proprietary bonificateur – a very old pot still rum with a high amount of esters – to shape its flavor profile.

Original Dark is a Barbados 3 year yum enhanced by this uniquebonificateurthat has been aged for 15-20 years.

The rich and intense style of Jamaica and Barbados, with their notes of plum, banana and vanilla, is enhanced by meticulous blending and further maturation, in France. The result is a profound structure spiced with notes of cinnamon and clove, whose smoky quality adds texture.
