Opening with juicy primary berry fruits and florals (like lilac and violets); with a little more exposure to air you get a more savoury mouthfeel, including fine chalky tannins. No surprise given the blend is from more elegant grape varieties native to the middle areas of Loire – cabernet franc, gamay and grolleau.
